A chat widget is a small icon in the bottom corner of your website that indicates that you offer a chatbot or a live chat service to assist your website visitors. Most chat widget icons are shaped like speech bubbles or text message bubbles so that people associate live chat with real-life conversations, whether in person or over the phone. TextChat’s chat widget goes a step further to make our website chat functionality even more clear by explicitly displaying a “Chat Now” button on the widget. We also display two welcoming faces from our support and sales team so that our website visitors can get a preview of who might answer their chat requests.
